Tidal energy is produced by the movement generated by tides, this energy is harnessed by turbines, which in turn moves the mechanics of an alternator that generates electricity, finally the latter is connected to a central ground that distributes power to the community and industry.
By not consuming fossil elements nor gases that help cause the greenhouse effect. It is considered a clean, renewable energy. Among its advantages being predictable and have a secure supply potential varies not momentous year, only limited to the cycles of tidal currents.

The installation of this type of energy is performed in deep rivers, estuaries (estuaries) of river to the ocean and under the latter taking advantage of ocean currents
